ANGEKTASE 40 PP® was developed with cold pressed oils, free from any solvents or oxidative heat.
ANGEKTASE 40 PP® is enriched with several Amazonian fats and oils. Derived from sustainable systems of the Amazonian rainforest and is completely traceable. It is an elaborate composition of ANDIROBA, BACURI, PRACAXI and TUCUMÃ.
PROPERTIES
ANGEKTASE 40 PP® has been developed with the purpose of being a multifunctional active in the relief of the skin injuries caused by mechanical or chemical stress of aesthetic processes, such as peelings and laser hair removals. Through the synergism of the different fatty acids, ANGEKTASE 40 PP® is proven to be a unique ingredient of easy incorporation in emulsified systems allowing the elaboration of different cosmetic formulations.
Among the bioactive compounds present in ANGEKTASE 40 PP® ursolic acid and naringenin play a special role. Ursolic Acid is a compound belonging to the group of pentacyclic triterpenic saponins present in a wide variety of plants of diverse phylogenetic origin and taxonomic position. Found in the outer layer of apples, pears, among other fruits, forms an oily protective barrier. However, after studies, its regenerative, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties have been discovered which make it efficient in cosmetic applications. Ursolic Acid promotes the health of the skin and hair by forming an oily barrier that protects against external aggressions in the same way as occurs in the fruit where it is found. This phytochemical has been used in products to treat skin aged by the action of the sun, it prevents the appearance of wrinkles and senile spots through the regeneration of the collagen fibers and their elasticity; inhibits the action of the enzyme elastase preventing its attack on structural proteins. It stimulates the peripheral circulation of the scalp. Ursolic Acid is a potent anti-inflammatory agent: it inhibits the activities of 5-lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase; therefore, has been recommended in products for burn treatment.
INDICATIONS
ANGEKTASE 40 PP® is indicated for relieving cutaneous erythema caused by physical-chemical processes and sun exposure, acting with soothing effect to the irritated skin.
